Celebrating Faith: Christian Music Month Returns

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 6, 2026) – The Gospel Music Association (GMA) is excited to announce the return of Christian Music Month (CMM), a celebration that unites industry leaders and fans to highlight the transformative power of Christian and Gospel music. This initiative is especially significant as it leads up to Easter, a peak time for Christian music consumption. By dedicating an entire month to this genre, CMM aims to amplify the messages and melodies that inspire countless individuals.

This year, GMA is collaborating with The Recording Academy, the organization behind the prestigious GRAMMY Awards, to present a series of exclusive performances under the theme ‘Positive Vibes Only.’ These performances will feature notable artists such as Israel Houghton, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Diana Marie, and Unified Sound, among others. Each video will be available for viewing on GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s dedicated playlist throughout March, providing fans with a unique opportunity to engage with their favorite artists.

In addition to the performances, Christian Music Month will be prominently featured on major streaming platforms including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora, and Spotify. The initiative is further supported by Christian Music Broadcasters (CMB), which is rallying radio stations to promote CMM. Major tours featuring artists like CeCe Winans, Chris Tomlin, and TobyMac will also incorporate CMM branding, ensuring that the message of Christian music reaches a wide audience.

The GMA encourages both industry professionals and fans to participate in Christian Music Month this March. Resources and branding materials are available at ChristianMusicMonth.com, allowing everyone to join in on the celebration of faith through music.

Founded in 1964, the Gospel Music Association is dedicated to promoting and celebrating Gospel music. The organization serves a diverse community of creatives and professionals, focusing on evangelism, education, and community support. Through initiatives like the GMA Dove Awards, the GMA honors the contributions of contemporary artists while preserving the legacy of those who paved the way in the industry.
