Multi-BRIT nominated, South London artist Cat Burns shares the music video for her latest hit single, “people pleaser,” out now via Sony Music UK/RCA Records.

Directed by Abel Rubinstein, the “people pleaser” visuals follow a day in the life of Cat and her friends as they rally around each other for support when a member of their friendship group deals with complex emotions following a breakup. Released last year, “people pleaser” has amassed over 20 million global streams and surpassed 11 million TikTok views.

Cat’s career trajectory has gone from strength to strength. From becoming the biggest-selling British female artist of 2022 and receiving several accolades, including a coveted BRITs Rising Star nomination, a BBC Sound Poll 2023 shortlist nod, and Spotify’s Global RADAR artist under her belt at only 22 years old, the South London singer-songwriter has the world at her feet.

Her viral smash “go” peaked at #2 on the Official Singles Chart in the UKand remained in the Top 10 for 17 weeks. Cat recently gave a superb performance of her hit single at the BRIT Awardsearlier this month, where she was up for three nominations (‘Song of The Year,’ ‘Best Pop/R&B’ and Rising Star), earning the title of the most nominated solo female artist at this year’s ceremony.

In April, Cat will open for Sam Smith’s Gloria UK & Europe headline tour. She will then reunite with Ed Sheeran for the North American run of his Mathematics Global Tour this summer, following her stint supporting the global superstar on the European leg last year.

Already teasing brand new music on her social media platforms, the excitement continues to build around Cat Burns, with fans and listeners eagerly awaiting what will come next from the talented South London artist.
