Today, Angela Rye is partnering with TIDAL for an exclusive new series, “The Main Thing,” where the multi-hyphenate attorney, political commentator and activist will sit down with guests for intimate and honest conversations.

The first episode features Snoop Dogg, who will become a first-time voter. They tackle his voting journey, Black political power, and voting rights while delving deeper into how systemic oppression and chronic myths perpetuate voter suppression. “The Main Thing,” will be available for TIDAL members and non-members alike. “As a culture, we commune in spaces like our kitchen tables and backyard barbecues for life’s delicate, candid conversations. While we’re secluded in our homes during one of the most pivotal moments in our nation’s history, “The Main Thing,” virtually culminates all of those conversations and as a culture, helps us to align on what really matters,” said Angela Rye. In the debut episode, Rye and Snoop discuss the tumultuous history of voting rights, his respect for Congresswoman Maxine Waters, his support for Kamala Harris, and how to pursue justice on the ballot.

Throughout the series, Rye will sit down with high-profile celebrities, entertainers, history makers, athletes, organizers and more to discuss culturally relevant topics and key issues leading up to the election. “The Main Thing,” will be fully playable for TIDAL members and non-members alike.

This new series adds to the growing list of exclusive content and unique experiences available for TIDAL members, including CRWN with Megan thee Stallion, Rap Radar with Drake, Car Test with Jhene Aiko and more. The series further solidifies the platform’s commitment to providing subscribers with more than just great music.
