Los Angeles witnessed the world premiere of Unexpected Christmas, a holiday movie that brought together a star-studded cast and industry figures. Hosted by 3 Diamonds Films, the premiere took place at the prestigious Harmony Gold Theater, where the red carpet buzzed with excitement. The event saw the attendance of many notable figures, including Lil Rel Howery (“Get Out”), Tabitha Brown, Regan Gomez-Preston (“The Parent Hood”), Koryn Hawthorne (“Greenleaf”, “Praise This”), Ricco Ross (“Beauty in Black”), Dominique Perry (“Insecure”), and Anna Maria Horsford (“Wayans Bros”, “Nutty Professor II”).
The evening was filled with glitz, glamour, and high spirits as the cast and attendees celebrated the upcoming film, with the screening followed by a lively Q&A session moderated by media personality Gia Peppers. The movie follows the Scott family as they come together for a Christmas reunion that quickly spirals into chaos. Marissa (Dominique Perry) returns home after a breakup, only to find her ex, Richard (Lil Rel Howery), arriving with her estranged stepsister, Kerry (Regan Gomez-Preston).
The tension escalates as old rivalries resurface, romantic mix-ups emerge, and family secrets come to light.
