Apple Music: Ava DuVernay Directs Ad with Mary, Taraji, Kerry

A new Apple Music commercial featuring Kerry Washington and Taraji P. Henson joining Mary J. Blige at her house for a little girl’s day action is causing quite a stir.

Directed by Selma director, Ava Duvernay the commercial blends of a bit of nostalgia with the use of mixtapes but then takes it modern with of course the use of Apple Music. Ava let the cat out of the bag with a tweet letting us know we can expect two more commercials. For now this one is pretty damn dope.
