For 10 weeks during the summer, Power 98 hosted block parties all over the Charlotte Metropolitan Area! Each week, the on-air personalities including No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse crew, Vonyetta, Mr. Incognito, Danny Diaz and more spent their afternoons hanging out with their listeners and providing free food, games, prizes, and tickets to the hottest shows of the summer!
Plus, the DJs took turns each week providing “DJ School” for the kids while spinning your favorite Hip-Hop and R&B music! And if that wasn’t good enough, Power 98’s Block Parties included appearance and performances by some of the hottest artists to block parties each week including national recording artists like Tink , Mannie Fresh, K-Camp, Young Dro, Maino, Que, Cool Amerika, T-Wayne, TK N Cash and more! Power 98 also viewed this as a great opportunity to give back to the community.
During the Block Party Finale in Concord, the station and it’s sponsors provided over 300 back packs and school supplies as families prepared for the first day of school!
