BMG Chrysalis US Appoints Mark Robinson SVP, General Counsel

bmg_chrysalisMark Robinson has joined BMG Chrysalis US as SVP and General Counsel reporting directly to Laurent Hubert, President of Creative and Marketing. Based in New York, Robinson will now head the North American Business and Legal Affairs team, overseeing all responsibilities of the department.

Most recently, Robinson was employed at Warner Music Group where he served as Vice President & Senior Counsel since 2004. In his ten year tenure he had responsibility for Business and Legal Affairs for a variety of business units including WMG Corporate, Warner Music Nashville, LoudMouth/WBR, Asylum Records, the independent label group, alternative distribution alliance (ADA), along with The Warner Sound, WMG’s YouTube channel, and Artist Arena, Warner’s fan club/VIP ticketing company. Prior positions included Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs at E1/Koch Entertainment, where he was head of the legal department for the multi-national entertainment company, Director of Business & Legal affairs for Walter Yetnikoff’s Velvel Music Group and Associate at law firm Power, Weiss and Kurnit, LLC.
