6. Tiana Major9 – Fool Me Once

Tiana Major9 made a major splash in the mainstream when she collaborated with EARTHGANG on the Queen & Slim single “Collide” back in 2019. While Tiana is still at work on her debut album, she helps quell the clamor of fans with her new EP Fool Me Once. The EP consists of four tracks but only three of the four are full songs (the final entry and title track is a spoken word outro that lasts only 30 seconds). The three full songs do offer a glimpse into what we can expect from Tiana in the future. Each is mellow R&B offering different flavors of the same theme.

7. Pink Sweat$ ft. Tori Kelly – Real Thing

For “Real Thing” Pink teams up with the talented singer-songwriter Tori Kelly to create a ballad that is sure to be played at plenty of weddings. A little acoustic guitar, an oh-so-light drum beat to keep time and some timely keyboards work well when paired with Pink and Tori’s stellar vocals. This collaboration really works because of the natural harmony between Sweat$ and Kelly as they alternate between singing solo and together in various parts of the song.

That being said, you shouldn’t keep her waiting long. “Don’t keep me waiting / I’m losing patience / So right, it can’t be wrong,” she sings over the gossamer synths of the song’s chorus.
