Bandcamp Prohibits AI-Generated Music on Its Platform

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – On January 13, Bandcamp, the popular music streaming service, announced a prohibition on music and audio that is generated wholly or in substantial part by generative artificial intelligence.

The platform has updated its guidelines to include this new AI policy, which also strictly forbids the use of its music for AI model training and machine learning purposes.
