5. BBD
Bell Biv Devoe, now you know, yo slick blow…As we all now BBD was a spin-off of New Edition and they brought an edge to the Jackson 5 like group from Boston. They represented Hip Hop, Smoothed Out, on the R&B Tip, With a Pop Feel, Appeal to it with songs like “Dope,” “Do Me,” and of course their smash hit, “Poison.’ But it was on joints like “When Will I See Smile Again,” that BBD showed their true R&B prowess.
First… New Edition is from the 80s. Second, no Shai?! Outsold all but Boyz II Men. Yes, that includes Jodeci. FOH.
Where is Jagged Edge
Jodeci should be #1
Silk was 10x better people just didn’t listen to them, to be honest the 90’s is probably the second or third era of music to judge.
This list made me cringe. 112? BBD higher than SILK? Silk top 3 based on Loose Control. They are so underated
