I have no shame in saying I’m one of the biggest Michael Jackson fans off all time. Yesterday was the anniversary of MJ’s death and every time it comes around most people say the same thing, “It seems like it was just yesterday.” Just like other icons, no one really wants to believe a legend like Michael Jackson is gone. Some want to believe he is still watching over the world in some sort of fashion in attempt to Heal the World as we always wanted to while he was still with us.
Some people have even reported seeing his ghost and others believe he is still alive hiding in Bermuda or some other obscure place. Well, there is a new theory out now. Michael Jackson or what appears to be an image of MJ was caught by a man in Virginia as he was observing the clouds during a lighting storm.
Photographer John Plashal said he was unaware of the Jackson imagery when he first submitted photos to the WTVR CBS 6 Facebook page following the storm. He said a storm chaser app, not a higher calling, compelled him to set up his camera outside Satterwhite’s Restaurant in Goochland where took several photos of the lightning storm.
“The image that you see of Michael Jackson just happens to be there,” Plashal said. He insisted he added nothing to the photo. “It’s pretty wild.” Plashal did admit to being a Michael Jackson fan but he swears he didn’t doctor the image in anyway.
