Ty Myers, the PLATINUM-selling singer-songwriter and guitarist, recently gathered a select group of industry professionals for an intimate conversation about his highly anticipated sophomore album, Heavy On The Soul, set for release on March 27.
The exclusive event took place last Thursday (3/12) at BMI’s London office, offering a glimpse into the creative process behind the new project.
During the gathering, hosted by BMI’s Jackson Kiger, Myers shared insights into the album, revealing that he wrote 11 out of the 17 tracks himself.
He also gave attendees a sneak peek of the album, performing several of his co-written tracks including “Songs for You,” “Gone Too Long,” and “Morning Comes,” as well as the solo-written “Through a Screen.”
The event served as a prelude to Myers’ highly anticipated performance at the C2C Festival, where fans will get to experience the new music firsthand.
