The Rickey Smiley Morning Show: Rude Comments

The Rickey Smiley Morning Show discussed the rude comments made about Serena Williams’ baby. Gray With Da Tea said the 23-time Grand Slam Champion has been through her share of hard times, and hard comments. Renowned tennis player Ilie Nastase brought out a stern reaction from Williams after he commented in 2017 about Williams’ unborn child that she was expecting with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Nastase made a series of allegations against Williams. He accused her of “doping” and then allegedly commented, “Let’s see what color it is” when talking about her child. “Chocolate with milk” was another comment he reportedly made against Williams. Williams responded by saying, “dude, are you serious.” She added: “Don’t come for me, and don’t come for my baby.” She also acknowledged the drug allegations saying that she is drug tested every day and is not “putting poison” in her body, said Gary.

“If I can’t beat you, I’m not going to cheat to win,” Williams said.

Gary wanted to know if people get upset when someone talks about their children. “You talking about somebody’s kid, you asking to get dealt with,” said the morning show host. Da Brat agreed that talking about a person’s offspring is a quick way to get a “fight” started. Rickey Smiley said, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words about my kids will make me kill you.”

Gary said he would not be bothered if someone was to talk about his child, but that could also be because he does not have children, he added.
