The Rickey Smiley Morning Show discussed the rude treatment Megan Markle received at Windsor Castle. Markle is speaking out and saying that she had never been treated like a Black woman until she married her husband, Prince Harry. Gary With Da Tea said Markle is being treated “bad” in the UK, and the people there are letting her know that she is a woman of color, added Gary.
Apparently, Prince Harry and Markle were going to have a bumpy ride as they visited the royal family to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Fans at Windsor Castle allegedly could not hide their feelings towards Markle when she did not extend her hand to greet the former actress. Gary said the incident was caught on camera.
Markle was going down the line, trying to touch the people’s hands and exchange support. Allegedly Markle extended her hand to a few women at the Windsor Castle gate, and stead of a warm embrace, she was greeted with a cold gesture. The woman ignored Markle and did not shake her hand.
The queen will be “Out for 11 days,” said Gary, and the body will be viewed all over the country. Rickey Smiley wanted to know if there was a way for him to obtain an obituary. Gary wondered who would get Queen Elizabeth’s iconic hats and if they would be auctioned off to a church. “Which church ladies gonna get those hats from the queen,” he said.
Meghan Markle, wearing the same outfit as Princess Diana, also came under scrutiny. Gary said the Duchess had the right to wear the clothes because of her relation to the family.
