Rast will apply his strong music sales background to SyncFloor’s unique catalog of commercially released, high-caliber music from around the world, music ready to license for ads, podcasts, and fitness applications. Based in New York, Rast will ensure SyncFloor continues to grow and find new customers for its easy-to-license, compelling repertoire.

“We’re thrilled to have Samu joining SyncFloor to build out our fitness book while driving expansion in our media and podcasting business, all spaces in which he has significant relevant experience,” says Kirt Debique, SyncFloor CEO and co-founder.

SyncFloor’s innovative, independent approach is exciting for Rast, who savors stoking growth in new areas and with new models: “I’ve been waiting for a platform to emerge that will completely change the experience of licensing commercial music, and I’m pleased to say that SyncFloor is that platform. Kirt and Cestjon have built a marketplace that provides an unparalleled search experience and removes the friction and uncertainty from the process of licensing commercial music. I’m thrilled to join such a talented team and look forward to helping grow SyncFloor into the #1 platform for licensing commercial music.”
