Sony Music Publishing Nashville today announced the signing of GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter and Old Crow Medicine Show front man Ketch Secor to a global publishing administration deal.
The news coincides with the 20th anniversary milestone of Old Crow Medicine Show’s legendary hit song “Wagon Wheel,” as well as the group’s 2024 Jubilee Tour in celebration of their 25-year anniversary and GRAMMY-nominated album.
As one of today’s most prolific songwriters, Ketch Secor is a founding member of the two-time GRAMMY award-winning band Old Crow Medicine Show and is widely regarded for his influence across Country and Americana music.
He has achieved acclaim for his work on timeless songs including the iconic #1 hit “Wagon Wheel,” which was co-written by Secor.
Since its original release by Old Crow Medicine Show in 2004, the song has been covered by numerous artists, most notably Darius Rucker, and has become of the top five best-selling Country songs of all time with 8x RIAA Multi-Platinum certifications and over 16 million US sales.
Additionally, Secor co-wrote a majority of tracks on Molly Tuttles’ latest two albums City of Gold (2023) and Crooked Tree (2022), and co-wrote the musical Hooten Holler, which premiered at the Barter Theatre’s 2022 Appalachian Festival of Plays and Playwrights.
Recently, Old Crow Medicine Show announced additional dates to the group’s 2024 Jubilee Tour. The group’s nationwide tour spans throughout the year and is set to conclude in December with their annual New Year’s Eve shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Featuring hit singles including “Miles Away,” which spent nine weeks in the Top 10 on the Americana Airplay chart, Jubilee served as a companion piece to the group’s 2022 album Paint This Town, which reached #1 on the Americana Albums chart and on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart.
