Sean Diddy Combs announced today a new live show, REVOLT BLACK NEWS. The news show is slated to air live Sundays at 8p ET / 5p ET beginning tomorrow, Sunday, April 19, 2020, and seeks to fill an information void for the Black audience.

The REVOLT BLACK NEWS announcement follows several urgent initiatives by Combs to heighten awareness, escalate the conversation, and raise money for the Black community that is being disproportionately ravaged by COVID-19. REVOLTs live town hall State of Emergency: The State of Black America & The Coronavirus on Thursday, April 9thmoderated by Combs and featuring Van Jones, Angela Rye, Reverend Al Sharpton, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Killer Mike, Big Sean, Aron Betru, Charles Blow, and more garnered more than 4.6 million views across all REVOLT platforms.

Combs Team Love Initiative in partnership with Direct Relief, organized a celebrity dance-a-thon on Easter Sunday. The 10-hour dance-a-thon raised more than $3.5M with a majority of the proceeds get PPE to healthcare workers in underserved communities.

When I started REVOLT I always wanted to develop a platform to report the news from our perspective, from our lens, from our people, so I decided to launch BLACK NEWS. said Combs Were here with solutions. Weve already heard about what we cant do, but this is what we can do.

Born out of the dire need for information, education, and inspiration, the series premiere of REVOLT BLACK NEWS Health is Wealth will have Combs joined by Van Lathan, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Bernard Ashby, Angela Yee, Styles P and Adjua Styles, Kelly Slater, Koya Webb, and others. The live, weekly series will air simultaneously on REVOLT and YouTube.com/REVOLTTV.

Each weekly episode will feature conversations with experts, artists, and elected officials discussing COVID-19s impact on the Black community, with key topics including health and nutrition, personal finances, income inequality, mass incarceration, access to education, and more.

The mission at REVOLT is to consistently and unapologetically serve our core audience, says REVOLT CEO, Roma Khanna. With this show we hope to provide a platform for timely and important information and idea exchange from respected voices in the community – intended to inform and uplift our audience during these challenging times.”
