Sarah Scales Named Senior Digital Director

Activist Artists Management, a leading management firm, announced today that it has named Sarah Scales Senior Director of Digital. In this new role, Scales is responsible for creating and implementing digital marketing strategies for artists on the Activist roster, including The Pretty Reckless, Weyes Blood, Empire of the Sun, The Lumineers, Brittney Spencer, Leif Vollebekk and others. She is based in Activist�s Nashville office.

Prior to joining Activist, Scales spent six years building and executing promotional campaigns for global brands and artists. At Marbaloo Marketing, led teams for up to 10 clients with followings amassing a cumulative 40+ million followers, including Dolly Parton, ACM Awards and Pilgrimage Music Festival. At Q Management Group, handled day-to-day artist management duties as well as facilitated digital marketing initiatives.

Scales is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Business. She got her start in the music industry with an internship at Capitol Christian Music Group, which brought her to Nashville. Scales is a member of CMA, The Academy of Country Music, Women In Music, Women’s Music Business Association, and SOLID.
