Radio Facts (radiofactsorg.wpengine.com) the most bold and most read urban industry online trade magazine is thrilled to see urban radio DJs getting the recognition they deserve since we started the Radio DJ contests in June of 2010 with The 2010 Top DJs of All Time. Â Â Several sites since then including NewsOne and magazines like the Source (see image) have joined in to celebrate DJs and radio. Currently the Source Magazine will premiere the Source Magazine salutes the top Radio DJ’s in the country in its 14th Annual Power 30 issue which hits news stands nation wide November 15th. Radio Facts owner and radio veteran kevRoss states: “I am thrilled to see urban radio DJs get the press and recognition from various sources. This was the reason we originated the contests, corporations were/are not allowing DJs and radio people to promote themselves and that didn’t make since to us since radio is a promotions businesses. The difference between our contests and those that have followed us is we that we want listeners to vote. We don’t determine who the winners are because we believe the listeners do. However, it’s done I am just glad to see urban radio DJs get the recognition they deserve.” Â The new Radio Facts contest The Top 20 Radio Shows of 2011 premiered this week.
