Today, Questlove Supreme Podcast welcomes special guest and former President, Bill Clinton. The episode is available to stream HERE.

In 1979, Jimmy Carter hosted the inaugural Black Music Month on the White House lawn, starting a wave of long overdue celebration. However, while largely acknowledged thereafter it didn’t become an official observation for many years. In 2000, President Clinton signed a bill to officially establish June as Black Music Month. Since, the month has served as a time to amplify talent across all genres.

The podcast was nominated for two 2022 NAACP Image Awards for “Outstanding Society and Culture Podcast” and “Outstanding Arts and Entertainment Podcast.” Additionally, the podcast earned a nomination for “Best Music Podcast” at the 2022 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards and won “Best Music Podcast” at the 2023 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.
