January 19, 2011, New York, NY – New Music Seminar, the innovative future of music conference, hitting Los Angeles February 14th through 16th, announces the NMS Producer, Songwriter and Performance Workshops for aspiring artists and creators seeking to rise above the noise floor.

Veteran Grammy winning producer/engineer “Bassy Bob Brockmann will lead the Producers Workshop along with fellow award-winning producers including Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Beyonce), Gavin Lurssen (“Slumdog Millionaire” Soundtrack, “O Brother Where Art Thou?” Soundtrack, Allison Krauss and Robert Plant’s “Raising Sand”) and Scott Jacoby (John Legend, Fabolous, Pink, Laura Izibor) addressing how to take rough song through to hit single, including an interactive Q&A with the audience on the essential do’s and don’ts along the path to success.

SESAC’s Linda Lorence will host a panel of hit songwriters including: Janet “Jnay” Sewell-Ulepic and Angela Hunte (Alicia Keys & Jay Z’s “Empire State of Mind, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx), Shelley Pieken (Christina Aguilera, Natasha Bedingfield, Keith Urban, Britney Spears), Michele Vice-Maslin (Ke$ha, Mica Paris, Nick Carter, Eden’s Crush) and Gospel songwriter/artist VaShawn Mitchell. � The power panel of songwriters will discuss their individual creative process and the new business models that have allowed them to sustain and succeed in their careers.

Andree Kaminsky, founder of SingerExpress along with Marlon Saunders of Seamless Voice will host the Performer Workshop “How to Achieve Success as a Singer/Rapper: From Soup to Nuts.” The movement will focus on all forms of singing, rapping and performing and how to thrive as a singer in today’s market place. Attendees are encouraged to bring vocal recordings (CD or MP3) along with promo package. Be prepared to perform upon request!
