BMG & Sketch Music Enhance Global Artist Discovery

BMG has entered a new global recordings partnership with Sketch Music, an innovative, digital-first, multi-genre lab reshaping how the next generation of artists are discovered and developed.

Founded in 2024, Sketch Music has rapidly gained attention for its ability to tap into the online culture, championing creators who are redefining genres, from viral phonk to genre-blending electronic music.

Sketch Music has already made waves in the industry with a roster that includes hits like Ogryzek’s AURA, GLORY, and EMPIRE; QMIIR’s SEMPERO; HUSSVRX’s I LOVE YOU SO JUMPSTYLE; DYGO’s MONTAGEM BUDA; Sayfalse, TRXVELER, and DJ ALIM’s DARE; and Sayfalse, SNXP, and ßino’s BELONG TO ME FUNK.

These tracks have dominated streaming platforms and have positioned Sketch as a leader in the digital-first music scene.

With this new partnership, BMG will bring its global distribution network and resources to enhance Sketch’s digital-first strategy, expanding its presence in new markets.

This collaboration is a significant step for both companies, aligning their commitment to empowering creators and connecting fans with cutting-edge music that’s emerging online.

Sketch’s founder and CEO, Ian Rasmussen, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Since launching in 2024, our goal has always been to find what’s breaking online and help artists break through with digital marketing strategies that make an impact.

BMG’s understanding of our mission and their global infrastructure make them the ideal partner to help us scale and reach even more fans.”

Dan Gill, EVP of Recorded Music at BMG, also shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting, “Sketch Music is at the forefront of the current music wave, representing a new generation of artists who are born online and move quickly.

This partnership fits perfectly with BMG’s vision to blend creativity, technology, and fairness in music, and we’re excited to help these artists bridge the gap between viral hits and lasting success.”
