PRODUCER OF THE YEAR” BY THE “ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION” Katrina Barilla has been selected as a recipient of a 2023 Gracies Awards for syndicated radio “Producer of the Year” by the “Alliance For Women In Media Foundation (AWMF)”. This acknowledgment is for Katrina’s outstanding work on Superadio’s nationally syndicated show, “Nessa On Air”. Katrina’s exceptional talents have helped the show deliver outstanding daily productions that have won the hearts of listeners across the country, including Monday through Fridays from 3-7 pm on HOT 97 in New York.
Katrina B, got her start working in San Francisco on KYLD and KIOI for over 10 years. There she was an on air talent, radio producer and DJ. Katrina B produced the #1 with women 25-49, “Ryan Seacrest Show” for KIOI from 2010-2015, “I can’t overstate how well-deserving Katrina is of this Gracie Award” says Nessa, Radio’s Queen of Hip Hop and host of New York’s #1 Hip Hop station WQHT-FM “Hot 97”.
“Not only is Katrina an inspiration to young women and girls in the media and entertainment space, but she’s a personal inspiration to me. I see the work she puts in and I’m proud to see her talents being recognized on the national stage.” Echoing Nessa’s thoughts, Eric Faison, President of Superadio says “Nessa on Air” is the #1 Rhythmic/Hip Hop afternoon show in the country and as producer Katrina plays an integral role in making that happen.

The awards will be given out at the Gracies Gala on Tuesday, May 23 at Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, CA.
