Alex Mac Named Night Host for DC101

iHeartMedia Washington D.C.�s DC101, D.C.�s Alternative Rock Station, announced today that Alex Mac has been named Night host effective Wednesday, August 28, 2024. iHeartMedia Washington, D.C. has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises � both broadcast and digital � encompassing more than eight stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Night Host, Alex Mac will be responsible for hosting the Night Show on DC101 from 7 p.m. � 12 a.m. He will report to Dustin Matthews, Director of Rock Programming for iHeartMedia Washington, D.C.

Alex Mac joins the DC101 from WRXL in Richmond, Virginia where he hosted nights. He also served as Assistant Program Director and Music Director at KDXA in Des Moines, Iowa, and Assistant Program Director at WDCG in Raleigh, North Carolina.
