Charlie Puth Takes on Chief Music Officer Role at Moises

Renowned singer-songwriter and producer Charlie Puth has stepped into the role of Chief Music Officer at Moises, an innovative AI music creation platform. Moises gained attention last year for its groundbreaking technology that brought the late Whitney Houston’s vocals back to life for a live concert experience, showcasing the potential of AI in the music industry.

The platform has successfully attracted $52 million in venture funding and operates with a diverse global team spanning the United States, Brazil, and Europe. With over 70 million users worldwide, Moises is available in 33 languages, making it a truly international platform for music creation.

Moises distinguishes itself from other AI music tools by not generating complete songs. Instead, it focuses on developing professional-grade tools that empower musicians to practice, perform, and produce their own music using licensed content. Puth’s appointment is expected to enhance the platform’s creative and product direction, as he brings valuable insights from his experience as a working artist.

According to Moises, Puth will play a crucial role in collaborating on artist-centric features and ensuring that the platform aligns with the actual workflows of musicians. Puth expressed his enthusiasm for the platform, stating that he has been using Moises in his creative process for years. He emphasized that AI, when utilized correctly, serves to assist artists rather than replace them, allowing for exploration and realization of creative ideas.

To celebrate this partnership, Puth and Moises have launched a global remix competition linked to Super Bowl LX, where Puth performed the national anthem. The Moises Jam Session invites musicians and fans to remix or cover Puth’s new single, “Beat Yourself Up,” from his upcoming album, “Whatever’s Clever!” Participants will have exclusive access to the song’s individual stems through the Moises app, with Puth personally selecting the winning entries, which will receive substantial cash prizes and exclusive merchandise.
