Philadelphia, PA, January 25, 2012 ” Mix 106.1 Program Director Brian Check has announced Wendy Wild middays at the Radio Station , keeping the fun and energy up for the workday (10:00-3:00 PM.) Check says “Wendy brings a unique enthusiasm to our team. She loves the music, is really in touch with celebrities and music news, and in her free time she is a flying trapeze artist! How fun is that?” Wendy admits “I have quite a few unusual talents” but says she is “thrilled to be on the air in Philadelphia”.
Her midday show will include “Mix Up Your Lunch”, an hour-long show at 12 noon with listener requests from e-mails and Facebook as well as the ability to vote for songs played on the air by logging on to www.mixphiladelphia.com.Wendy has worked in Miami and New York, and has and has been a guest host on nationally syndicated countdowns. She’ll play Philly’s Biggest Variety of the “90s, 2K and Today,” and let listeners pick the music using “Mix Control” on the Radio Station website. Wendy Wild’s  appointment is effective immediately.
