ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM), an Audacy station in Sacramento, is rolling out a revamped weekday schedule starting February 2—with a brand-new morning show and a major time-slot move for one of its staples.

A new morning show: “The Jump”
The station is debuting “The Jump”, a weekday morning show hosted by Kyle Madson and Jesse Tapia. The show is built around hot takes, bold opinions, and heavy listener interaction, with callers driving much of the conversation and local teams kept front and center.
Airs: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. PT (weekdays)
Replay block: “The Jump: Rewind” from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. PT
For Tapia, the move is especially notable: this is his first role as an on-air host. He’ll also continue as producer for “D-Lo and KC.”
Madson, who is ESPN 1320’s Brand Manager and Host, said Tapia brings “a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm,” and framed the lineup changes as a push toward higher-energy mornings and even more local insight and personality across the day.
Tapia called the opportunity a personal milestone, saying he’s wanted to host since childhood and is looking forward to talking sports with Madson while having fun on air.
“D-Lo & KC” moves to afternoon drive
Longtime show “D-Lo and KC”—hosted by Damien Barling and Kenny Caraway—is shifting into the key afternoon drive window.
New time: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. PT
The show will keep its familiar mix of energy and banter, with some pop culture worked in.
Expanded Kings coverage with James Ham
James Ham is taking on a bigger presence as the station’s Sacramento Kings insider, leading ESPN 1320’s team coverage. Listeners will hear breaking news updates and analysis from Ham weekly on both “The Jump” and “D-Lo & KC.”
