ENTERCOM ELEVATES ANGELIQUE ALSTON TO BRAND MANAGER FOR WPGC 95.5 FM IN WASHINGTON D.C.

�Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the promotion of Angelique Alston to Brand Manager of WPGC 95.5 FM (WPGC-FM), Washington D.C.’s heritage rhythmic urban hits station, effective immediately.

“Angelique has done a tremendous job elevating our team and I am excited to see her expand her career as Brand Manager,” said Ivy Savoy-Smith, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Washington D.C. “Her unique way of providing entertainment for our listeners, educating the community with viable content and her engagement with the sales management team tells me she will thrive in this new role. Her ability to multi-task, implore creative thinking, work hard and commit to excellence has led to great success and we are delighted to have her lead WPGC 95.5 FM.”

Alston is a seasoned radio industry executive with nearly 30 years of experience. Since 2013, she has served as Assistant Program Director, Morning Show Producer and Events Producer. She also served as morning show producer for “The Donnie Simpson Show” and “Big Tigger in the Morning” on WPGC 95.5 FM, and executive produced annual station events, including “For Sisters Only,” “Coat Drive 95,” and the “Back to School” and “Birthday Bash” concerts. She will report to Savoy-Smith.
