On September 28-30th, in celebration of hip hop’s 50th anniversary, Del Ro will be enhancing the experiential experience of the conference and festival.

“I am looking to integrate tracks within the conference, so there will be more defined incorporation of film, tech, culture and entrepreneurship. We are rolling out a Black-owned vendor village for Black entrepreneurs to become involved, exposed and gain revenue.”

Del Ro’s disruptive serial entrepreneurial roots stems from his college years, after launching his first company on the campus of Oglethorpe University, hijacking $10,000 from the programming board to remix their “Stomp the Lawn” annual event.

Filling the lineup with diverse talent inclusive of two national acts, he had his ‘aha’ moment and knew the event process and entertainment world were for him.

Del Ro can comment on the following hot topics:

-How he enhances events and produces them at a high level, including leveraging relationships to book talent, locking in sponsorships, partnerships and elevating experiences.

-Content collaborations with brands such as Anheuser-Busch(Presidente), MVMT, StayPineapple, Smartwater, Pepsi Co., Frito Lay, CleanPrene, Lifewear Technologies and Apothic Red

-The creation and expansion of Vibey Hour(R) & Connectsgiving(™) Date announcement – Connectsgiving Chicago- 11/1/23 & Connectsgiving ATL – 11/8/23

-Event Project Manager for BAMS Fest (https://www.bamsfest.org/) June 22nd – 25th, 2023

-How to inject diversity and representation into events and become multifaceted within the entertainment industry, including hosting events, moderating conversations, and collaborating with brands for social media content/posts.

-How to create events that spark careers, inspire people, bring people together and provide opportunities.

Del Ro says, “I started Double A Management and my work within entertainment because of the lack of representation and diversity of events on my college campus. I continued the work to produce unique, creative and inclusive experiences that bring people together. I am one of the few individuals in the industry that work both in the forefront and in the background (b.t.s.) of events.”
