CBS RADIO LAS VEGAS NAMES MARTY BASCH VP/Sales

CBS RADIO Las Vegas is pleased to announce the appointment of Marty Basch as Vice President/Director of Sales for the six-station cluster. Basch will also serve as General Sales Manager for KMXB Mix 94.1 FM. The appointments are effective on Monday, Sept. 26. This marks a return to CBS RADIO for Basch, who worked for the Company’s Las Vegas station group from 1989-2009. He began his tenure as a sales representative, and was later named General Sales Manager for KLUC, a position he held until 1998. In addition, he served as National Sales Manager for the cluster from 1995-98, and was General Manager of KLUC, KXTE and KSFN from 1998-2009. Jerry McKenna, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS RADIO Las Vegas , said, “We are thrilled to welcome Marty back to the CBS RADIO team. Throughout his career he has demonstrated a strong ability to work with clients in unique ways that drive results. And he has a knowledge of the Las Vegas market that will be invaluable as we innovate our programming and what we can offer advertisers to reach audiences over the air and online.” Basch has been an active member of the southern Nevada media community where he served on the board of Directors for Southern Nevada Radio Association and Nevada Broadcasters for close to two decades. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager for Kemp Broadcasting (2010-11).
