BMG Elevates Allegra Willis Knerr to EVP, Global Synch

BMG has announced the promotion of Allegra Willis Knerr to Executive Vice President, Global Synch Licensing, serving as the lead senior executive managing its synch licensing teams around the world. She will continue to report directly to Dominique Casimir, BMG Chief Content Officer.�

BMG elevates Allegra Willis Knerr to EVP, Global Synch Licensing

Based in Los Angeles, Willis Knerr was previously appointed to head BMG�s global synch licensing team as SVP, Global Synch Licensing, in early 2022. She is responsible for overseeing and supporting BMG�s global synch licensing business, all licensing initiatives and policies, driving and optimizing the workflows and output of the synch licensing team in BMG�s territories around the world.

Willis Knerr joined BMG following the acquisition of Bug Music in 2011, where served in film and television licensing roles. She has been a key executive leading the synch licensing teams in North America to successfully grow BMG�s synch licensing business for over a decade.

Joining Bug Music in 2009, prior to BMG�s acquisition in 2011, Willis Knerr was elevated to Director and co-head, Film & TV Licensing in 2013 and Sr. Director, Film & TV Licensing in�2015.�She has been a key executive�attracting, developing, and retaining talent�helping to lead the teams in Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto, to successfully surpass end of year financial targets.

In 2020, was promoted to SVP, Synch Licensing responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and direction of BMG�s US and Canada based synch licensing business.
