Former Atlanta Officer Sentenced to 10 Years

A former Atlanta police officer, Justin Mikale Thorne, is facing a ten-year prison sentence following his guilty plea in a 2019 armed robbery case. Thorne, aged 26, confessed to his involvement in the robbery of Freddie Gladney III, a rising rapper known as “Bankroll Freddie,” along with another individual.

Court records in Cobb County confirm Thorne’s plea to multiple felony charges earlier this month, solidifying his impending prison term. Source
