Too many of us are complaining now, and what is frustrating is how many folks failed to vote during the 2010 midterm elections and who seem not to realize our own culpability. Our lack of action resulted in Tea Party wins, in loss of seats by those who championed our cause (although not always loudly enough), and in President Obama not having the needed support in congress. Rather than complain about what we are not given, we should take by registering every single eligible person we know to vote, especially those who have been adversely affected by the actions of congress. That means making sure cousin Pookie and every body else.gets to the polls. Having someone in the white house who is sympathatic to our plight is not enough. We must have strong, smart people representing us in Congress as well. Let’s stop the ‘woe is me’ mentality, get off our asses, and DO something constructive. Does the poverty bus have voter registration forms in it?

Obama and the Dems should have gotten a lot more done when they had the majority back in 2010. It should not have been all about that Health Care Bill.

With Black Unemployment at almost 16%, a lot of black folks are gonna sit home in Novemberr 2012. Why vote if all Obama is concerned about is Gay issues.
