Andrea Ayers is getting a bigger seat at Cumulus Media’s Lexington, Kentucky operation.
Cumulus has promoted Ayers to Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Lexington, with the move taking effect January 1, 2026. She steps up from her longtime role as Sales Manager for the company’s four-station cluster in Lexington, a position she has held for more than a decade. Ayers is also a 20-year Cumulus Media veteran.
Mark Sullivan, Senior Vice President, Operations at Cumulus Media, said he and Ayers have worked together for decades and credited her with consistently delivering results for the Lexington stations.
He pointed to her commitment to the business and her service to the community—specifically advertisers, listeners, and employees—calling the promotion well-deserved and expressing confidence in her success in the new role.
Ayers said she’s honored to take on the VP/Market Manager position and is looking forward to using her experience and passion to help drive growth, strengthen relationships, and deliver strong results alongside the Lexington team.
Cumulus Media’s Lexington cluster includes four stations: Hot 102.5/WLTO-FM (CHR), News Talk 590 WVLK-AM (News/Talk), K92.9/WVLK-FM (Country), and Z-Rock 103/WXZZ-FM (Rock).
