iHeartRadio Holiday Special Brings Artist Stories to Fans

iHeartMedia has kicked off its annual station flip to holiday music, with over 95 stations nationwide now broadcasting festive tunes 24/7.

The stations will feature a mix of holiday classics from artists like Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra, alongside new hits from today’s biggest stars. This marks the start of iHeartMedia’s celebration of the holiday season.

Adding to the festivities, the iHeartRadio Holiday Special, hosted by Mario Lopez, will air on November 26 at 7 p.m. local time across iHeartRadio stations.

The special will feature interviews with artists like Goo Goo Dolls, Gwen Stefani, Lady A, Meghan Trainor, Pentatonix, and Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless. These stars will share their favorite holiday songs and personal traditions, giving fans an intimate look at their holiday celebrations.

iHeartMedia has become the go-to destination for holiday music. Throughout the season, listeners can enjoy festive tunes on more than 500 platforms and 2,000 devices through the iHeartRadio app.

The app offers a variety of holiday channels, including “iHeart Christmas,” “North Pole Radio” (hosted by Santa Claus), “iHeart Christmas Classics,” iHeartCountry Christmas, iHeart Christmas Jazz, iHeart Christmas Rock, and iHeart Christmas R&B. To explore all of iHeartRadio’s holiday offerings, users can search “iHeart Holiday” in the app.

Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia, expressed that the holiday music experience is more than just a station switch. It’s about creating a sense of joy and nostalgia, where artists share personal stories and celebrate the season with their fans. The special programming has become a beloved tradition for listeners, connecting generations through music.
