102.9 The Buzz: BENEFIT 4 THE BORO Live Concert

102.9 The Buzz (WBUZ-FM) & 102.5 The Party (WPRT-FM) are teaming up with The Aerospace Maintenance Club of MTSU to present Å”Benefit 4 the Boro, a live free concert event this Sunday, April 26th at 4PM on The Knoll at Middle Tennessee State University.   102.9 The Buzz and 102.5 The Party will spend all week informing listeners how they can help our neighbors in Murfreesboro recover from the destruction left by an EF4 tornado Friday, April 10th.  Ã‚   Station staff will be collecting donations for The Murfreesboro Red Cross.   The Å”Benefit 4 the Boro band schedule is listed below.   WBUZ/WPRT would like to encourage everyone to pull together, have a good time and do something positive for a neighboring community in strong need.   Å”This disaster operation is going to be an on-going effort between local government agencies, as well as other local non-profit organizations for a very long time and it will take the entire community working together to help our neighbors recover, said Red Cross CEO Greg King.   For more information on how you can help, contact The American Red Cross Heart of Tennessee Chapter at 615-893-4272 or visit their website at www.midtnredcross.org.
