WRKS Update: Morning Show – Joyner or Local Talent?

Sources inform us that Reach Media would LOVE to get Tom back in the NY market on the recently “vacated” morning slot on WRKS and while the station may be considering the option, they are also testing out local talent and /or comedians. Today D.L. Hughley and Paul Mooney did the show (interesting combination). Sources say it was hard to tell who was leading the show but it was still funny. No word on how long the comedians will be hosting. Hate me if you want but I am a HARDCORE advocate for the updation (OK I made that word up) of urban radio.
