VSiN Starts Operation In Richmond, VA Market

Mobile Radio Partners is teaming up with VSiN, The Sports Betting Network (“VSiN”) to bring sports betting content to Richmond, Virginia. The parent company of Ultra (1480AM and 94.1FM) and Boomtown (92.9FM and 101.7FM) radio stations is launching “Richmond’s Best Bet, 1480-The Line” to bring VSiN’s premier sports betting programming 24/7/365 to this top 55 radio market.

“The new format will bring 24-hour sports betting programming to Richmond for the first time,” said Mark Smith, General Manager of 1480-The Line. “The new station leverages the growing interest in sports betting by covering all sports through the wagering lens. So many markets have embraced sports betting stations and it’s high time that Richmond started delivering the news and analysis folks need with best-in-class content from VSiN.”

AM1480, previously a part of the company’s Hispanic network, flips to a sports betting format with today’s launch of Richmond’s Best Bet, 1480-The Line. VSiN content will deliver real-time�news and analysis from some of the�industry’s most knowledgeable sports betting experts and legendary bookmakers to inform and entertain the growing number of people betting on sports in Virginia.�
