Impersonation and Assault in Lower Manhattan
A suspect impersonated a police officer and pepper-sprayed a man inside the Whitehall Street South Ferry subway station. The incident took place on Sunday evening.
The suspect, wearing an NYPD detective shield, approached a 46-year-old man and, when the man tried to walk away, pepper-sprayed him, causing burns and swelling to his face.
