More details have been released on late Migos member Takeoff’s funeral, which will take place on Friday, November 11, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Ga. Tickets to attend the service were available to fans and ran out within an hour, said Da Brat. According to reports, Justin Bieber, who collaborated with the Migos several times, will perform at the memorial.

Da Brat said all phones would be confiscated at the service. Takeoff, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot and killed in a bowling alley in Houston, and he was only 28 years old.

Rickey Smiley said there is some “interesting stuff” coming out on the internet concerning the death of Takeoff.  “I really think the Houston Police Department have a really good chance of solving this murder,” he added.

Smiley said he could no longer listen to Hip Hop with the same spirit. “I’m so turned off by the culture, I just don’t listen to it,” said Smiley. “When I hear that stuff, I’m reminded of the death of Takeoff.”

The radio DJ said today’s music feels and sounds like death and paranoia. The music today does not contain the feelings of celebration and unity that Hip Hop once brought to the table, he added. Smiley said that he still listens to R&B and likes when the stations play a Chris Brown record. The radio DJ said many people feel that way, and Da Brat agreed.
