“The Burial” Trailer: Jamie Foxx Targets Intuition, Faith!

The overall premise of Jamie’s character in this film on Prime may appear arrogant but conversely, he displays extreme confidence. The concept is well-balanced by showing that Jamie’s character is a man who genuinely cares about others.

I have yet to see a movie that describes the measure of success and the challenges that a Black man endures, even, at times, from his own community.

In this movie, Jamie’s character has a loving and supportive wife and family which are the pillars of his success. Yet he has had to become extreme in order to compete and win after a harrowing and extremely embarrassing situation that he describes in this movie.

… because All That Glitters Ain’t Gold

There is one powerful scene where the Black hangers-on leave him in the dust because they feel that he can’t win and they don’t want to ride with him anymore. This movie, based on a true story, is not just about truth it’s evident and excellent.

Jamie Foxx has done it again. In his latest film, The Burial, he delivers a powerful and nuanced performance as a high-powered attorney who is determined to fight for justice for his clients.

The film is set in Mississippi in the 1990s and is based on the true story of Willie E. Gary, a lawyer who took on a massive white corporation that was taking advantage of the black community. Gary was known for his unconventional methods and his willingness to go the extra mile for his clients.

What is “The Burial” about?

In The Burial, Gary is hired by a white client who has been ripped off by the corporation. Gary reluctantly takes on the case, but he soon realizes that it is more than just about money. It is about fighting for what is right and standing up to injustice.

Gary’s case is made even more difficult by the fact that the opposing side has hired an all-black defense team. This is a strategic move on their part, as they know that Gary is likely to have an all-black jury. However, Gary is not deterred. He is determined to win the case, no matter what.

The Burial is a powerful film about intuition, faith, and determination. It is also a reminder that justice is not always easy to come by, but it is always worth fighting for.

Here are some of the things that make The Burial such a great movie:

  • Jamie Foxx’s performance is outstanding. He brings Willie E. Gary to life with such passion and intensity.
  • The film is incredibly well-written and directed. It is both suspenseful and emotionally resonant.
  • The supporting cast is also excellent. Tommy Lee Jones, Jurnee Smollett, and Mamoudou Athie all give memorable performances.
  • The film is based on a true story, which makes it even more compelling.

What’s Behind the Script of The Burial

In 1995, Willie E. Gary, an unconventional personal injury lawyer with an impressive track record, took on a case that would change his life and the lives of his clients forever. The case involved Jeremiah Joseph O’Keefe, a funeral home owner who was being sued by the Loewen Group, a large funeral home company, over a contractual dispute.

O’Keefe was facing financial ruin, and he knew that if he lost the case, he would be forced to sell his family business. But Gary was determined to help his client, and he wasn’t going to back down from a fight. If you are looking for a great movie to watch, I highly recommend The Burial. It is a film that will stay with you long after you have seen it.
