Oddly it seems that Showtime at the Apollo was hosted by Steve Harvey just yesterday but what’s interesting is Harvey was homeless for 3 years just previous to getting the break to host Showtime living in his 1976 Ford Tempo with an igloo in the back seat as a makeshift refrigerator. Harvey admitted to PEOPLE Magazine “It was disheartening, a week is really the maximum you can do, This was three years. It was rock bottom but even in my darkest days I had faith it would turn around”
