Today, Sony/ATV Music Publishing Nashville announced it has signed celebrated country songwriter Marv Green to a worldwide publishing agreement.

Marv Green is an in-demand songwriter who has penned countless No. 1 country hits including โ€œTrueโ€ and โ€œIt Just Comes Naturalโ€ by George Strait, โ€œWastedโ€ by Carrie Underwood, โ€œWho I Am With Youโ€ by Chris Young, and โ€œAmazedโ€ by Lonestar, which spent a record breaking eight weeks at No.1 on the Billboard charts. Currently, Marv has a Top 10 single on the charts entitled โ€œI Called Mamaโ€ by Tim McGraw.

Throughout his impressive career, Marv has collaborated with prominent country artists such as George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Billy Currington, Kenny Chesney, Brooks and Dunn, Tim McGraw, Lee Ann Womack, Faith Hill, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Rodney Atkins, and many others. He has also written top charting singles such as โ€œShotgun Riderโ€ by Tim McGraw, โ€œProud Of The House We Builtโ€ by Brooks and Dunn, โ€œFarmerโ€™s Daughterโ€ by Rodney Atkins, โ€œCreepinโ€ by Eric Church, and โ€œLive This Longโ€ by Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson.ย 

The Southern California native began his music career in 1993 when he moved to Nashville to pursue his passion for songwriting โ€“ Marv quickly made a name for himself and signed his first publishing deal within six months of arriving. Since then, he has crafted some of todayโ€™s top country singles and won numerous awards including BMIโ€™s Song Of The Year in 2000, BMIโ€™s Songwriter Of The Year in 2001, as well as an ACM Song Of The Year and Grammy nomination for his single โ€œAmazed.
