On January 1, 2024, Dave Smith will assume his new role as Atlanta Chapter President. Dave will continue as a national board member and Chairperson for the nomination and induction process.

Dave will collaborate closely with the 2nd national Vice President, Marsha Washington George, and lead the induction ceremonies in Atlanta in 2024. Dave will also revamp the National Black Radio Hall of Fame website.

“Dave Smith’s wealth of talent and expertise makes him a valuable addition to our organization. We are thrilled to have him as Chapter President in Atlanta, where he will continue to serve the National Black Radio Hall of Fame.” Marsha Washington George.

Reflecting on this opportunity, Dave Smith remarked, “This affords me the ability to remain an integral part of an industry I fell in love with 40 years ago. It’s fitting that my birthday falls on National Radio Day. As the incoming Chapter President, my goal is to expand our presence in Atlanta and assist the national organization. I am grateful to Mr. Bernie Hayes, NBRHOF Founder and President, Mrs. Uvee Hayes, 1st VP, and Mrs. Marsha Washington George, 2nd VP of the National Office.”

Dave Smith will continue to operate Brand It Live, an Atlanta-based consulting firm, working with influencers, entertainment entities, and radio stations, leveraging the latest AI technology.
