Like many others, comedian and morning show host, Rickey Smiley took to his IG to educate Drew Brees on why Colin Kaepernick and others choose to kneel during the National Anthem. if you are not familiar with the comments, New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees received serious backlash Wednesday from his colleagues in the sports world and beyond, including from a couple of teammates, when he reiterated his stance that he will “never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America” during an interview with Yahoo Finance. LeBron James and many others had something to say as well but Rickey dropped about 15 minutes on the subject. You would think by now, no one would have to still educate anyone on why Kap and others choose to kneel.
