    RADIUS CHICAGO – New Music Venue Coming Early 2020 w. Dillon Francis, Killswitch Engage, Lil Wayne, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

    RADIUS is a brand-new independently owned and operated music venue coming to in early 2020. The 55,000 square foot multipurpose event space, primarily focused on music, has a capacity ranging from 2,500 to 3,800 people. The venue is equipped with a state-of-the-art D&B KSL sound system, exceptional acoustics, a mezzanine level to VIP guests/packages, lavish lounges, a spacious outdoor smoking section, and nine full-service bars where guests can indulge in craft beers and specialized cocktails.The first set of shows at RADIUS include electronic music producer Dillon Francis, international house and techno legend Carl Cox, house producer Tchami, American hip-hop artist Lil Wayne, metalcore band Killswitch Engage with August Burns Red and Light The Torch, punk rock bands Alkaline Trio and Bad Religion, and Austrailan psych-rock band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. The surrounding Pilsen neighborhood, which was recently ranked as one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world by Time Out, is known for showcasing some of the best, brightest and most brilliant murals around Chicago. RADIUS fits right into the mix by showcasing three distinct murals created by Lefty Out There, Thank You X and NYCHOS.Radius Chicago's newRADIUS owner and operator Nick Karounos has been involved in live music and nightlife in Chicago for the past 20 years. Karounos has played a major part in the Chicago music scene as an owner and operator of Concord Music Hall, the MID, and PRYSM Nightclub. Karounos saw the need for a large space that was built specifically for live events and close to the downtown area:“We were looking for a scalable, multi-purpose venue space to house a state-of-the-art concert facility with modern art and design elements at the forefront, and we’ve created it with RADIUS,” states Nick Karounos. “This project has been 4 years in the making and we are beyond excited to Chicago and the rest of the world what we have built for music lovers of all .”Within RADIUS is Cermak Hall, a 10,000 square foot multi-purpose event space featuring its own entrance, a full bar and an additional . Cermak Hall will be used as a pre and post-event space with food and drink options allowing guests to enhance their experience. The space will also cater to numerous amounts of including weddings, conventions, corporate/private events and more.RADIUS is located in Chicago’s East Pilsen neighborhood just south of The Loop bordering Chinatown with easy access off I-90/94.
