Larry Bruce Cotlar, a local sports radio Radio DJ and the host of the weekly radio show “Cotlar and Company” on 1350 ESPN in Iowa was stuck in his van during a vicious rainstorm in the city. Rescuers were miffed as to why the 66-year-old man decided to get out of his van during the storm and sweeping floods but after he exited the van he lost his footing and was abruptly swept away by the current. His body was discovered almost a mile away from the van deceased.
