Looks like HD radio is slow to catch the awareness of listeners in comparison to Internet and sat radio. Some listeners are even confused when it comes to HD and Satellite radio. Those who are familiar do equate a better quality and sound but listeners state the receiver has to drop in price before they will consider buying it. See the study here
