MY MUSIC: ’70s & ’80s SOUL REWIND features both vintage and recent performances by such legendary artists as Kool & The Gang (Celebrate), The Spinners (Could It Be I’m Falling In Love), Isaac Hayes (Theme From Shaft), Lou Rawls (You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine), Marvin Gaye (Let’s Get It On), Earth, Wind & Fire (September), Bill Withers (Ain’t No Sunshine), The Trampps (Disco Inferno), The Hues Corporation (Rock The Boat), The Jackson 5 (A-B-C) and many more R&B greats.
This retrospective follows two previous popular MY MUSIC programs ” Superstars of ’70s Soul with Patti LaBelle and Aretha Franklin Presents Soul Rewind. MY MUSIC: ’70s & ’80s SOUL REWIND begins airing nationwide on PBS stations beginning June 1, 2013 (check local listings).
