Marc Washington Joins 1075 WGCI as Executive Producer

Clear Channel Radio Chicago Director of Urban Programming and 1075 WGCI Program Director derrick brown announced today the appointment of Marc “Marco” Washington as Executive Producer of “Tony Sculfield & The Morning Riot” on 1075 WGCI.

“Washington is a unique talent with a brilliant programming mind,” said Derrick Brown.  “He is the one to cultivate and harness ‘Tony Sculfield & The Morning Riot’ content and deliver it in a concise, compelling manner that our audience demands, especially across our growing online and mobile platforms.”

Most recently, Washington was the local producer for “The Doug Banks Show” on V103 and served as programming assistant and guest mixer for the station.  He joined V103 in 2005, and has worked in a variety positions, including production assistant and board operator for Herb Kent, Judge Greg Mathis, and Attorney Warren Ballentine’s radio programs

Washington is a graduate of Columbia College with a B.A. in Entertainment and Media Management.  A native of Chicago’s south side, Washington has owned his own DJ/Production company, Marcomusik, since 1999.
